Volunteer Ecuador: Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Quito is also the capital of Ecuador. The beautiful, bustling city sits high in the Andes Mountains an altitude over 9000 ft.
Quito’s Old Town is a wonder with neighborhoods lined with colonial architecture, some of it dating to the mid 1500s when the Spanish founded the city. It is a place of delicious food, friendly people, wonderful Andean music and colorful marketplaces.

Volunteer Ecuador: This trip was incredible and I don’t regret coming for a second. Our trip was a month long and I think that is a perfect amount of time for first time travelers. Changing sheets, cleaning the bed frames, and washing patients will most likely take up all your time.

Volunteer Ecuador: It took me 3.5 weeks out of my 4 to actually start falling in love with the country. I loved how cheap it was to travel around ecuador. The taxis are sooo much cheaper than ubers so I took advantage of that. I can tell that my spanish has gotten way better and I am more confident when I talk. And the hospital wasn’t what I thought it would be.
