Volunteer Belize Review Amy Wood at the Orphanage program

My life has forever changed because of the children of the orphanage and my experiences in Belize. I have not loved every second of it if I am being honest. The heat and the bugs are difficult to accommodate. I really love the friends I have made in Belize. I plan on returning someday.

Volunteer in Costa Rica San Jose Review Autumn Leone Child Care Program

Volunteer Costa Rica My favorite memory at the orphanage was when it was a child three year old birthday. When we sang for him and brought out the cake his face lit up. Once he received his present, a monster truck that could lift its front wheels in the air, I have never seen him so happy.

I almost cried on my last day volunteering, as my teacher Carolina and all the ninos/ninas gave me a big hug. All the teachers at the day care and the director really appreciated my efforts and hard work during the month despite my poor Spanish! The kids wore me out every day but it was very rewarding and I will long remember the experience!

I am a high school student that volunteers often but on a small scale with the Red Cross. I was able to come here from Germany to help with the construction project at an orphanage. Volunteer Peru Cusco Galen Miller-Persico Child Care and Zoo Care program

I was nervous going in as I’m sure everyone is, but Maria Elena made me feel right at home. I worked at a kindergarten at first but the teachers went on strike so I have been working at the local Zoo which I am enjoying even more. If you are on the edge about signing up I have to say this was amazing and I think it is something everyone should try. Give it a shot you will nots regret it.

Volunteer Peru Cusco Review Anna Samples Dental Program

I think this was a great experience/opportunity for me. I worked at the dental hospital and it was great to see how different they treat their patients and the different accommodation they have to make. Living at Maria Elena´s was very nice, everything thing here was amazing. She had hot water, wifi and the meals were great! I think if you have the chance you should defiantly come abroad, it’s an experience you’ll never forget!
